Why BitDefender Internet Security 2013?
Early this year, we decided to evaluate the 3 top current Antivirus Internet Security products. Bitdefender was one of them and the other two were also very well known products in the market. After thorough evaluation, we found Bitdefender was going to be our choice for a few reasons; threat detection, silent protection, user interface and performance.
With Auto-Pilot (silent mode) turned on, Bitdefender took care of the job for us with no popups. It detected and deleted viruses, quarantined possible threats and had the least amount of false positive detections – all this without any annoying popups. The other two products did not support silent protection and they also lacked in user interface appeal. When it came to looks Bitdefender’s new slick interface far surpassed its competition. The last and deciding factor was Bitdefender’s performance, it outperformed the others purely because it did not contain any bloatware (unrequired programs) attached to it.
